Apply a moderate amount to damp or dry hair and work through in the same direction as your wave pattern. Brush and style as usual. OR, as a weekly deep moisture treatment, you can try the Hot Towel Method: Apply a moderate amount on dry or damp hair, brush it in, then place a hot towel on your hair for 1-2 minutes. Remove towel and style and brush as usual.
